Equipment crafting uses the item, the matching materials, Scrap and an appropriate Artifact Scroll. Requirements belong to the equipment skill: Attack for cannons, Power for sails, Hull Defence for plates and spyglasses. Review the in-game quote before committing.
Prepared economy update · 0.13.4
The next prepared release removes crafting-material NPC drops. Scrap, equipment, artifacts and scrolls remain in their respective loot systems. Recycling equipment becomes the material source. Existing materials are kept.
In this prepared update, crafting to Rare costs 750 gold, Epic 2,500 and Legendary 8,000. Recycling pays 30% of the rarity’s gold value: 225, 750 or 2,400. Premium pays 10% more: 247, 825 or 2,640 after rounding down. Tier affects material yield, not this gold value. Common has no gold payout.
