Gold Market
Exchange Diamonds and Coins through player offers. Prices are set by available orders.
How the exchange works
A buy order reserves Coins and asks for Diamonds at your chosen unit price. A sell order reserves Diamonds and asks for Coins. Compatible orders match at the existing offer’s price, starting with the best price and then the oldest offer.
If a buy completes below your maximum price, the difference is returned to your order’s collectible proceeds. Unfilled quantities remain open until matched, cancelled or expired.
Sale tax
The seller’s tax is 10%, or 5% for a currency sell order placed with active Premium. Tax is rounded up on cumulative gross proceeds; partial fills pay only the extra tax due after that fill. The applicable rate is recorded when the order is placed.
For example, selling Diamonds for 1,000 Coins gross yields 900 Coins at 10% or 950 Coins at 5%. An item sale through Trading Center uses its own 10% tax.
Order allowance and collection
The Gold Market allows three active sell orders, or six for an account with Collector entitlement. These allowances are separate from the four/eight item-offer allowance. Orders can last up to 14 days.
Use Collect for completed exchanges and returns after cancellation or expiry. Check unit price and quantity before placing an offer; the displayed history records completed trades rather than a guaranteed future exchange rate.
