Obtaining

Buy a Name Change Scroll in Captain services for 1,050 Diamonds. Buying the item does not change your name.

Changing your captain name

Use an intact, unpacked scroll from your inventory, enter an available name and confirm. Names use 3–20 letters, numbers and single spaces, beginning with a letter. Public captain names are reserved across regions.

Complete your initial captain setup, remain alive and finish player trading before using the scroll. One scroll is consumed only when the change succeeds. An unavailable or invalid name does not spend it.

If the receipt is delayed, use the retry button to check the same change. Renaming does not create a new captain or reset your progression.

Storage and trading

Each unpacked Name Change Scroll occupies one of the 28 inventory slots. The bank groups matching rarity and condition, up to 250 physical items per displayed group.

The bank can withdraw matching items as a packed stack. Packed items cannot be equipped, consumed, sold to a service or used as crafting ingredients. Deposit the packed stack to recover its usable contents.

This item may be traded with another sailor. The Harbour Merchant does not buy it.
