Epic Open Treasure Map

Obtaining

Opening a Epic Treasure Map creates this active map and starts the timer.

Using the map

Reopen the map to read the current clue. Reading it does not reset or extend the timer.

The hunt lasts 15 minutes, including time offline. Search aggressive pirate waters with level 100+ enemies within the clue's 12-tile radius. The chest appears only when nearby.

Claiming the chest consumes the active map and awards one merchant valuable of its rarity. Return to the main world to open maps and claim rewards. See the complete treasure-hunt guide for navigation and expiry rules.

Read the coastline and search mark to identify the destination. Each of the nine regions has its own unlabelled chart, with no region name. Your gold position marker appears only while you are in the region shown by that chart; it is hidden in every other region. The destination remains independent of where the bottle was caught or the map was opened.

Storage and trading

Each unpacked Epic Open Treasure Map occupies one of the 28 inventory slots. The bank groups matching rarity and condition, up to 250 physical items per displayed group.

Bottles and treasure maps cannot be traded, sold, packed or manually dropped. An active opened map stays with its owner on death.

Keep this item for its own activity; the Harbour Merchant does not buy it.
