Character and wardrobe
Choose one of eight complete sailor appearances and adjust its available colours.
Complete appearances
Deckhand, Boatswain, Corsair and Navigator are available in both male and female forms. All eight complete default appearances are free. Choose skin, hair and wardrobe colours from the available palette.
An appearance is a complete matching character, not a mix of separately selectable limbs or clothing pieces. Appearance changes are cosmetic and do not grant combat stats.
Saving a change
Use the Character panel to preview and save a valid appearance while alive. A saved appearance persists with your sailor. Your actual Captain ability is selected through Captain equipment, not by choosing the Captain-like character outfit.
Boat appearance
Boat paint and owned godly boat skins are separate from character appearance. Read Ships and the individual paint or skin item pages for their use and ownership conditions.
