Artifact Scroll T9
An Artifact Scroll used for T9 equipment progression and scroll combining at the Shipwright.
Obtaining
Ordinary NPCs whose equipment drops are T9 have an independent 10% base chance to drop one Common T9 scroll. A separate higher-rarity roll retains its existing Rare, Epic and Legendary chances, so both rolls can succeed on one kill. The tutorial Trial Pirate is excluded.
Artifact Scrolls are also obtained through player trading and scroll combining. Retired equipment blueprints exchange for scrolls of their own tier; a Common blueprint becomes a Rare scroll.
The table lists active NPC sources at base rates. Rows marked as independent rolls are separate from the main loot roll; they are not competing alternatives. Eligible loot effects can improve occurrence without changing the rolled rarity.
Using the scroll
Rare, Epic and Legendary T9 scrolls apply the next rarity step to equipment of tier 9. The scroll rarity must exactly match the result. The item also needs its material, Boat Scrap and Coins. Scrap and Coins scale with both tier and target rarity.
A Common T9 scroll instead advances Legendary T8 equipment to Common T9 for 5,000 Coins.
Combining twenty matching scrolls
Carry 20 intact, unpacked scrolls of one tier and rarity. Open the Shipwright's Scrolls tab. Combining costs no Coins and has no skill requirement.
Common is a real scroll rarity. The progression contains Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary; there is no Uncommon step.
| Input rarity | Output |

| Rare | 1 Epic Artifact Scroll T9 |
| Epic | 1 Legendary Artifact Scroll T9 |
| Legendary | Maximum scroll; no further combination |

Trading scrolls
Scrolls can be exchanged in player trades. The item market currently offers Rare, Epic and Legendary scroll variants in its rarity selector. Common scrolls still exist and work in Shipwright recipes.
Storage and trading
Each unpacked Artifact Scroll T9 occupies one of the 28 inventory slots. The bank groups matching rarity and condition, up to 250 physical items per displayed group.
The bank can withdraw matching items as a packed stack. Packed items cannot be equipped, consumed, sold to a service or used as crafting ingredients. Deposit the packed stack to recover its usable contents.
This item may be traded with another sailor. The Harbour Merchant does not buy it.
