Temptation

Effect

Protect yourself from incoming harmful god spells for 10 seconds. Existing debuffs remain, and cannon attacks and Captain specials are not blocked.

Casting and timing

Choose Aphrodite, recover at least 120 Favor and press the spell’s action-bar button or key 3. The cooldown is 18 s. The timed effect lasts 10 s.

Divinity 16 is the first level whose maximum Favor can cover the cost. This is a capacity requirement, not an extra purchase. This spell is cast on yourself; its later effect may trigger against an opponent.

Interactions and limits

This prevents new hostile god-spell effects during the protection. It does not remove an existing stun, root, bleed or defensive penalty. Captain movement freezes and cannon damage are unaffected.

Recovering the cost

Favor recovers only while you are alive and online, at 1 plus your active Crew count per minute, up to your Divinity maximum. See Crew capacities and costs. Captain special energy is a separate resource.
