Effect

Give yourself and party members within one parcel 10% more Hull Defence against their next three damaging cannon hits. Each sailor has separate charges.

Casting and timing

Choose Poseidon, recover at least 180 Favor and press the spell’s action-bar button or key 2. The cooldown is 18 s. This spell is instantaneous or waits for the trigger or charges described below.

Divinity 36 is the first level whose maximum Favor can cover the cost. This is a capacity requirement, not an extra purchase. You are always included; eligible nearby party members receive their own effect.

Interactions and limits

Eligible party members are alive, in the same encounter area and within 20 tiles. Each sailor receives their own three charges. A damaging cannon hit uses one charge; a miss does not. Normal, Captain and secondary Illusion cannon hits can consume a charge.

The ward ends for every recipient if its caster changes gods, including recipients who reconnect later. Changing your own god does not remove a valid ward cast by another Poseidon follower.

Recovering the cost

Favor recovers only while you are alive and online, at 1 plus your active Crew count per minute, up to your Divinity maximum. See Crew capacities and costs. Captain special energy is a separate resource.
